Chaman: Pakistani border forces have introduced a new security mechanism at Pak-Afghan border in Chaman to control the border, stop illegal movements and smuggling. Pakistan has also made new tracks for vehicles and people travelling between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Security officials collect data of every single person travelling between Pakistan and Afghanistan through Friendship Gate. More than 15000 local residents of the Chaman go to Afghanistan in the morning and come back in the evening daily. Hundreds of trucks also carry trade items to both sides every day.
