News Lens Pakistan, an independent national news cooperative, is seeking a business representative to grow its online operations. The business rep is part-time position to market News Lens and manage and sell advertising on the News Lens website. Salary plus commission, with potential for expanded role in the coming year.
Duties include:

Work directly with IT Manager on placement of ads and use of Google Ad Sense

Sell online ads to businesses across Pakistan

Seek sponsorship for News Lens from any appropriate source

Make contact with potential member outlets on behalf of News Lens cooperative

Other duties as requested by the Executive Editor.
Qualifications:

At least two years proven success in selling advertising online

Thorough understanding of online media

Excellent communications skills in English and Urdu

Excellent business skills including budgeting and planning
