Federal Minister’s Key Statement on Imran Khan’s Transfer to Hospital
Islamabad: Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has made an important statement regarding the transfer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to a hospital.
Imran Khan will be shifted to a hospital—either in Rawalpindi or Islamabad—for treatment of his eye condition.
Speaking to the media, the PML-N minister stated, “The founder of PTI will be taken to a hospital where he will receive treatment.”
It is worth noting that Imran Khan is undergoing treatment for his eye ailment. He received his first injection on January 25, and the second injection is scheduled for February 25, for which he will be taken to the hospital.
Regarding the hospital transfer, the minister clarified: “He will be sent only for a few hours solely for the purpose of administering the injection, so that he can receive the best possible medical facilities under the supervision of doctors. This injection can only be given under medical oversight. After the procedure, he will have to return to jail.”
